Carbon 800 rugged computer from OnLogic wins Vision Systems Design Innovators Award

OnLogic (www.onlogic.com) was awarded in the Machine Vision category at the Vision Systems Design 2022 Innovators Awards. The Karbon 800 series rugged computers from the leading manufacturer of industrial computer hardware have been awarded the Silver Innovators Award. This award was presented to the OnLogic team on Monday during Automate 2022 in Detroit, USA.

“The Vision Systems Design team congratulates OnLogic on their performance in the 2022 Innovators Awards program,” said Chris Mc Loone, Editor-in-Chief of Vision Systems Design. “Every year, this independent and competitive program rewards the most innovative machine vision products and systems. The OnLogic team can be very proud.”

The Carbon 800 Series from OnLogic is designed for Industry 4.0 and industrial IoT applications that require powerful computing in challenging environments or remote locations. The Carbon 800 systems are powered by Intel’s latest 12th generation processors, formerly known as Alder Lake.

“We greatly appreciate the recognition of the Carbon 800 and its ability to help developers innovate new machine vision solutions,” said Kim Wasserman, Director of Product Management at OnLogic. “We have focused on features and expansion capabilities that support the wide range of solutions our customers have built using our robust computers. These include the PCIe Gen 4.0 expansion to the latest GPUs and new I / O capabilities such as 10GbE and M12 LAN. We are also working on additional configurations to be launched soon, including a high-capacity RAID array. Today’s machine vision projects are all unique. Configuration flexibility was therefore crucial in the development of the Karbon 800 series. “
