A possible consequence is that the special remunerations will be higher in 2021. In addition, the proportion of full-time positions and the average working hours have increased. When more hours are paid, the amount of special rewards also increases.

The special remuneration was not higher in all sectors: in energy supply, mineral extraction and in education and public administration, on average less was paid per working year than in 2020.

In the field of education, employees received a one-off benefit in February 2020 as compensation for a period without a collective agreement in 2019. As a result, the level of the special remunerations for 2020 was higher than in 2021. There was an administrative change in the public sector. administration : Due to an adjustment to the Individual Election Budget (IKB) scheme, some special rewards are no longer perceived as such.
