The ‘pop-up festival’ Alkjes072 came this summer with acoustic performances, art and poetry in various places in Alkmaar. The festival is back on 27 November with Alkjes072 Fest at 7pm in Podium Victorie. A large edition to finish with many artists from the region. Van Heels are going to blow

The midwinter horn guild ‘Van Hakken Comes Blazen’ has existed for ten years and gives a number of performances. During the Fjoertour Egmond on November 26, two midwinter horn players play their 3.60 meter long alpine horn in the church. On November 27, the winter horn will be blown in Schoorl. At 14.00 there is a walk (for adults and children) through the dune area, supported by midwinter horn blowers. You can also try it yourself. The city’s factory makers

Which creative creators have now found their place in the creative incubator de Stadsfabriek (Marconistraat 5)? Find out on November 26 from 13.00 to 17.00. They open the gates wide and show what they have. All kinds of producers have open studios, there are products for sale, workshops, traditional snacks, live music and various demonstrations.

Musical before after

The (relatively unknown) musical ‘Before After’ by the British duo Stuart Matthew Price and Timothy Knapman is performed by the new Dutch musical company Oatmilk with a Dutch version. Ice skating and jamming

In the indoor skatepark ‘Street!’ (Marconistraat 5) is the ‘Plankenkoorts’ on Friday 25 November at 20-22. For five euros you have entrance and you can skate to your heart’s content. From market to market

You can stroll through the market in Heerhugowaard in two places: on the 26th and 27th of November the ‘Wonderful Winter Fair’ is held from 10am to 5pm in De Noord Heerhugowaard. In addition, there is a market on 27 November from 10:30 to 15:00 in Het Voorhuis (Reigersdaal square, Krusemanlaan 88) with more than sixty stalls. The profit from the maternity rental and catering goes to leisure activities for people with disabilities.

Bouldering and quizzes

At the bouldering hall Sendmast (Koelmalaan 354) there is a Pub Quiz on 25 November from 22.00 to 00.00. Extra tip: First, do a bouldering session where you climb up to a height of four meters over thick mats without ropes. Crystal in Obdam

The singer Krystl plays on 26 Nov. in ‘t Brakenkerkje Obdam. After the single ‘Golden Days’ she won the Edison for Best Newcomer, a 3FM Award and a Buma Award. Exhibition library Heiloo

Artist Tineke Leering and ‘Eerlijk & Werelds’ exhibit in Heiloo Library until 3 December. Leering has been a member of the Heilooër photo club HAF since 2010. Later she followed various courses and developed her own style. The exhibition includes ‘The third image’, where she superimposes two photos that together form a new image. Fair & World exhibits varied handicrafts from different (developing) countries in the world. These can also be bought as gifts. With the sale, Fair & World helps countries that have a more difficult time.
