Logitech makes video experiences more professional with the budget-friendly Brio 300 and Brio 305 webcams

New consumer and business webcams are easy on the wallet and significantly improve video conferencing

LAUSANNE, Switzerland & NEWARK, California – January 18, 2023 – Today, Logitech (SIX:LOGN) (NASDAQ:LOGI) unveiled the Brio 300 series: compact plug-and-play webcams with Full HD 1080p resolution, automatic light correction and a microphone that suppresses ambient noise. The webcams are sold at a friendly price (digital) and are designed to easily create natural, productive video meetings where everyone feels seen and heard.

“We surveyed more than 3,000 remote workers* and found that most of those who don’t use webcams struggle with poor lighting, unappealing camera angles and poor audio quality. The Brio 300 series is an accessible product line that significantly advances them on every these areas and significantly improve the quality of their video conferencing,” said Scott Wharton, general manager of Logitech B2B. seen all video conferencing platforms.”

The Brio 300 series consists of the Brio 300 and Brio 305. Both are Full HD 1080p webcams with high dynamic contrast, automatic light correction and a single digital microphone that suppresses ambient noise. Users are therefore always clearly heard and seen, despite poor lighting and background noise. This makes them feel more confident and involved in the conversation, resulting in more effective meetings. The webcams can be connected to computers via USB-C and make it possible to participate in video meetings in an instant – regardless of the workplace. After the meeting, a built-in privacy window ensures that the camera lens is covered so that the workspace is no longer visible.

The Brio 300 Series is the latest addition to Logitech’s webcam portfolio, developed for The New Logic of Work. Within this new way of working, personal workspaces are personalized, easy to set up and use, and designed to be future-proof. The cone-shaped design of the Brio 300 webcams adds a personal touch to any workspace, and users can also choose from different colors: off-white, graphite and pink. These colors match Logitech mice and keyboards for a stylish, organized setup.

The business market
The Brio 300 webcams work with most video conferencing platforms and are certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. The 305 variant is specifically for the business market and also ideal for IT departments to implement in home offices and personal workspaces. In addition, Brio 305 can be installed on a large scale and can be easily controlled remotely via Logi Sync. Ultimately, this results in fewer troubleshooting tickets being created and less time spent solving problems in an organization.

Pioneers in sustainability
Logitech is committed to creating an equal and climate-positive world. The company works actively to reduce its CO2 footprint. Between 2015 and 2020, Logitech has already succeeded in reducing no less than 46.8 percent of its CO2 emissions. Not for nothing did Logitech lead the Financial Times list of climate leaders this year. Logitech achieved this leading position by, among other things, switching to more circular materials and looking for new ways to reduce waste and extend the life of products, components and materials.

The plastic parts in both Brio 300 and Brio 305 contain certified, recycled plastic** from old consumer electronics. This plastic thus gets a second life and is used 62% in the webcam in graphite color and 48% in the colors off-white and pink. The paper packaging comes from FSC™ certified forests and other controlled sources.

All Logitech products are certified CO2 neutral and use renewable energy (where possible). The carbon footprint of all Logitech products, including the Brio 300 and Brio 305, has been reduced to zero through forestry, renewable energy sources and supportive communities committed to reducing emissions.

The Logitech Brio 300 and 305 have a suggested retail price of $79.99 and will be available later in January at www.logitech.com and various retailers. More information about the specifications of the webcams can be found in the attached fact sheets.
